| Tile Shower pan installation can be designed to fit any size and shape, with any type of tile or stone. Generally smaller sized tiles are used in order to follow a 1/4" per foot slope to the floor drain. Here I show the begining to end of a tile shower pan installation. I use a unchlorinated polyurathane pan liner, an adjustable tile shower drain, 1/2" permabase cementicous backer board and dry pack 3to1 mortar. I always water test my pans to ensure no leaks are present in the liner and level out all walls to ensure slope is consistent in pan to allow water to drain most effectively. | |||||
